A Cruel Prince by Ingrid Seymour

 So Dani finally gets her story told. I have to say out of all the siblings she is my least favorite although I don't know Leo's backstory yet. Dani has no bad girl image, she can't fight and even cries when a monster dies. Really? I was impressed that she at least did a lot of flexibility type exercises. That doesn't help though when you have no skills. Look I love kids alot however she wasn't even being safe. Who works super late & doesn't pay attention to her surroundings? She claims she is all about health but doesn't eat  consistently. What about a healthy mind everyone needs friends for their mental stability. She finally acknowledges all this towards the end. She has no life. Just work. Now lets break down yummy Kalyll. Gorgeous tall broad shouldered hunk. Yeah I realize they are all descriptive words but there is so much to describe! Did I mention he's mysterious & broody? I know, right? What's not to love? Just get about a few days into the journey & I think you will start to figure out the biggest puzzle piece. Now Arabia I love her. Loyal cousin with some sick powers! How much fun would it be to compel people? Ok sure it might get old after awhile & you might make some enemys with this it. One to many pranks if you know what I mean, lol. Kyrn is you typical royal spoiled prince brat. Apparently we have his dad to blame for that until then it remains to be seen. Best friend/brother to Kalyll. Crude comments, visits to brothels, arrogant, jerk to Dani need I go on? Cylea is basically living in the wrong realm. She sounds like an American teenager who can fight. All she cares about is shopping. Which makes you wonder why she is on this quest. Then we have Silver the cook who can make anything taste good. I'm sure with magical cooking supplies it helps. The tents certainly sounded comfortable. Silver sounds like he could be the oldest. Oh and his powers sure come in handy in the rain. But Jeondars has the best gift on a cold rainy day. Heat that he can use to stop your teeth from chattering & dry your clothes. He seemed the nicest out of all of them towards Dani. He even went out of his way to offer suggestions to Dani on how to coax the dryad child to come with them. For someone who heals which is a gift a lot of Fae have I am surprised Dani doesn't know more about Fae. Plus with the Sunder Mountains it shocked me the family never did a search to see if they had a fae connection. There are more books to come so more could be revealed. I also think that queen is evil & conveniently had her men show up after the fight. That way she looked innocent. Pretty sure the cruise told Dani the Queen killed her family. Unless she didn't hear her. Stupid human hearing!

Supernova by Julie Hall

 This book gutted me!!! Who knew I.could fall so hard for the bas guy? I mean I love Steel but there were times I wanted to ring his neck for treating Thorne so bad. And then there is Nova, the arrogant girl who only cares about herself. I never cared much for her because she was just a supporting character. However, I really loved her after this book. And she gets a cool spirit bonded animal. After she goes through metamorphosis she gets amazing powers. Julie you made me cry a few times in this book. I don't cry over a book easily! This book had a roller coaster of emotions for me & in my opinion those are the best kind. I loved this series but I don't remember crying over Steel & Emberly except when they got engaged. You have to read this book! I promise you won't regret it. Oh how can I forget the hilarious scenes when Sterling & Greyson went through their metamorphosis. Julie please consider doing more in this world! Maybe after they graduate?

Demon Hunger by Ingrid Seymour

 This is the last book in this series. I'm seriously crying inside because my book boyfriend won't be at my finger tips. That is until I re-read the series over and over to just soak up some yummy Drevan! That being said I have let Ingrid know how unhappy I am about this. I'm sure I won't be the only one. Regina and Lucia finally go at it. I mean it gets ugly! I could smack Sage for his suggestion on how to finally bury the hatchet. And he said it in front of Regina. Men are clueless! Lol. They get the next sin subject. I must admit I had no idea what mumbling was so thank you for teaching me something new. I love that the sin that you think it is isn't exactly what you would assume. That is a great twist on the story. Of course, it wouldn't be a story without out Jophiel thrown in there. He's after Lucia a lot in this book. I can't believe no one thought about what Regina's power is when Lucia started having nightmares. I mean does no one think she would stoop that low? It was the first thing I suspected! Remember in the previous books where they warned you could get sick from traveling in demon portals? Yeah, it happens. I will say in the end everyone got what they deserved except for 2 people. Sage still has no girlfriend. I think he's still hung up on Lucia even though he admits he just wants Lucia to be treated right. Regina deserves worse than she got. I think Lucia was way too soft on her. And I think it will be something she regrets later. Hey we all know these characters can show up in other Sunderverse books. I'm just saying it could happen. Maybe even a novella or a spin-off series.

Wicked Ties by Megan Montero

I had no idea Maze was so powerful! The fact that the Crone was afraid of him blows me away. I can't believe his dad was so stupid. And his parent's story makes so much sense now. It explains their odd behavior. The artwork inside the book is so good. Tilly is so smokin' hot! I don't think her description in the books does her justice. I love that she gets to keep the fangs. And Liesin is in this book too. He cracks me up. He's so obsessed with Nova, that he'd do anything to be with her. Tilly is incredibly smart and it really shows in this book. I can't imagine going through what Tilly does in this book. Especially when what was stolen from her is such a huge part of who she is. I love how Tilly is so bossy and Maze just does as she says. Almost like another Ophelia. In fact, in the beginning, Tilly is just like her.

Shadow Angel book 3 by Leia Stone & Julie Hall

What an emotional roller coaster this book was! Gage finally becomes a relationship guy. I'm so proud of Tate for getting mad and yelling at Cael finally. When she loves someone she proves she will do anything to protect them. Plus she will make sure they survive and have the life she thinks they deserve. And when Skye tells her that you don't just go talk to whomever you want in Avalon, Tate stands her ground. Let's face it if Skye & Tate's roles were reversed Skye would be marching up to Avalon too. She's bold & tells it like it is. I think deep down Skye is proud. I absolutely love Harley! Please Leia & Julie write Harley & Dash's story. It's so obvious Dash likes her. If a guy is carrying you around all the time he likes you! And they are definitely making a series based on Harley & Dash. I can't wait after the shades lose their powers it will be interesting to see how they save Dash's relative. Gage makes a beautiful transformation from hellhound into something else. The vision you planted in my head is so cool. I already love this book.

Shadow Angel book 2 by Stone & Hall

 There is so much action in this one! There are 3 fight scenes in cemeteries. A quirky aunt that you'll love. Poor Gage has a lot of lows and highs in this one. The only thing  will say negative about this book is that Tatum just can't put pieces together fast enough for me. I have stuff figured out before she does. And that's saying something because I'm 48 & have a terrible memory! I will hint that another Shade joins the Lumen Compound. I'm sure you can guess who. Also someone dies, but their still in the whole story. I don't like to give away all the details. There are some shockers that blew my mind. Leia & Julie did a great job of that. Nothing you would have probably thought of. Wait to you meet Aurum a winged lion. And that's all the teaser you get from me, lol. Tatum learns how to use her portal power. She goes to Avalon to train even. A lot cooler than sitting in the baby classes at Lumen Academy. You get to read what happens to Gage after going to Avalon. Not what you were expecting that's for sure. Well what are you waiting for buy it already!

Shadow Angel by Leia Stone & Julie Hall

Oh, I'm so in love with this angel series! Wait till you read who the bad guys are & what they've done. I love Tatum as mom talk about being a strong person. However, most moms would sacrifice themselves for their children. Of course, we do not know the whole story yet, do we? Then there is hot broody Gage. You're lucky if you see his softer side. And if you do be prepared for those walls to go up when he figures it out! Can't have anyone thinking he's soft. I love her friends at Lumen Academy. And can I just say there is nothing like a nonjudgmental best friend like Drea! That is very rare. I'm still working on that myself. I can not wait to see what happens next. And if Tatum disobeys to go save her mom. I love that her dad can't touch her. Her mom is so brave & freaking strong!
