Wow, there are so many feelings in this book. Rage, sadness, jealousy, anger, happiness, love, loyalty, disgust, passion, lust, friendship, hate, etc. And the pull these two feel toward each other is off ate charts. The hilarious pact they blackmail each other into had me betting how long they could go at faking emotions before they became real. They owe Joss & Blue a lot for getting them closer together. I love Lexi's family, dysfunctional siblings & all. I love Benny's character & pray he can help Sterling's situation. I'm craving the next one already! If you ask me though Lexi should have mentioned having a boyfriend. And Sterling should have come clean with Lexi. Especially after they made it official.

Wicked Warlock by Megan Montero
So we finally get to find out what happens to Nova, Beckett, Astrid, Kylian, Tabi, Ashryn, Logan & Soto. Trust me it's worth the wait! I love how Megan weaves Kylian & Soto into the story. They become intricate characters to the story. And I hope they stick around for more stories. Hint, hint ;) There is a new character you may love, hate or love to hate. His name is Liesin, son of Hades. I think he has a thing for Nova, but it's to soon to tell. Anyway there are so many missions in this one I lost count. The Unseelie are really hatching a take over that is so smart I thought we may have to wait till the next book to find out who wins. Thankfully I was wrong! There are things that happen with Astrids family. We get to meet Zeus. Someone becomes immortal, blah, blah, blah folks you get the picture the book is awesome! If you want to know what really happens get the book, duh?
My Future Lies by A. M. Pierre
This is a futuristic sci-fi adventure that at times is almost to wild to believe! All the technology is just gibberish to me, but the author does go into great detail to explain all these fantastic feats. Imagine finding out you had a body double out there. It would creep me out and I'd feel sorry for the poor soul. Christopher is a lovable character who is loyal, chivalrous, and stuck in a hard position. He has been living as a teen with no close friends, doing his homework & he never stuck out. One day he meets a hot girl leaning on his beat up car. His life is never the same after this point.
I loved cute little Fable & Puddle even though they had such small parts I felt they should be mentioned. Merrick I thought was very charismatic, charming and very likable. He had great qualities and cared deeply for those under his care. I felt both anger, loathing and pity for Dr. d'Alta. Of course, she was put in a hard position. I would never have gone as far & done as much wrong as her character did. I wouldn't be able to live with myself. And lastly I can't believe Alexander didn't see that he had ultimately become the bad guy.

A Grave Death Independant Necromancers' Bureau by Victoria Deluis
This book was very cool. I love a good necromancer/paranormal book on any given day. I love the theory that an artifact could give a human the powers of a Necromancer. Cassie has great co-workers. I love Elizabeth the ghost who works in the office. Emma her best friend, who it seems she never sees besides at work. There is a lot of activity in this book, though. Thomas seems like a pretty cool boss, he finds loop holes to help Cassie. Brandon arrives on the worst day to start a job, when a loves co-worker died! Most of the book is devoted to the action and trying to figure out who is controlling these zombies that they can't kill.
I love Cassie except her choice in men. She should never have gotten together with him! They are from basically 2 different worlds. Plus they can never be totally honest with each other because of their jobs. I really love Brandon more for Cassie! At least he would understand her better. Yeah I get there are times she has to lie about her powers, but she wouldn't have to about Nathans' death. And Nathan would take that secret to his grave. So obviously I wasn't a big fan of the ending. That's not to say I won't read the next book! I will be waiting with baited breath. I want some necromancer action!

Forever Golden by Rachel Jonas & Nikki Thorne
Never thought Vin could be so dirty. And what he almost did to West was unforgivable. Glad his mom finally grew a spine. I love their grandpa, he is so loving and kind. I can't believe Wests' mom still married his dad after all the detective dug upon him. This book was hard for West & Blue. Pretending things are different in your relationship just to keep everyone safe would be so hard. Emotionally it could break you to be so hard on the one you love. I'm just glad that the people they chose to confide in helped them & didn't run tip Vin off. I love the ending. I can't wait for the next one!

Master Mage by Chandelle LaVaun & Megan Montero
More twists than a tornado! This book has all your favorite movie quotes & nerdy fandom. It also has some of the best plot twists I've read in a long time. And I read for hours every night. I swear this has to be my favorite out of the season. I cried, so thanks for that ladies. Readers beware! This one gets deep with the soulmate stuff. That being said it was such good stuff. I love that with this series they jump back to what's happening in reality, so to speak (Earth). It kind of grounds Ellie. Glad she was able to make it home for the big event. But the name ladies, really? The Epilogue like the book hit me out of nowhere. I had never thought anything like that was going on!You ladies are plot Queens!

Forging Darkness by Julie Hall
So another amazing story in this series! There were a few times I wondered where Emberly's backbone was. We all love her snarky mouth, am I right? So why can't she stand up to her friends when she knows something is a bad idea? Not sure where that lack of confidence stems from. They manage to carve out enough time to find Steel without anyone looking for them. Only as usual one wrong decision puts their backs against the wall and surrounded by hundreds of Forsaken. Emberly is taken to meet a mysterious halfborn seraphim like herself. However, Thorne isn't anything like he portrays himself to be. Emberly decides he's not going to let her go & tries to escape. Needless to say she ends up in a cell next to Steel's. Their punishment is a fate no Nephilim wants! Buckle up because the ending is sure to throw you for a loop. I know it did for Steel &Silver!
