Demons & Hellholes by Eleanor Rousseau
Tantalizing, oozing sexual tension, craving more this book had it all! Oh my gosh where has this book been! I really needed a book like this to wake me up and make me feel so many desires & emotions. I love her big protective brother, Jay. She really has him wrapped around her little finger. She is right her family is crazy and they do great her like a child! Then she meets a fey named Grant, who is all talk about sex. He just doesn't do it for her though, she likes Avon the daemon blood. He sweats gorgeous out his pores. He looks like your typical bad boy, but is he? And why are a fey & a daemon blood together, it's never happened before. Are they stealing the magical device for a good reason & if so will she help them? Or will she steal it from them to give it to her family and complete her misson? Now it ends on a cliffhanger that I can't stand so excuse me while I read the next book.

Mage: The Eternal Realm by S. A. Edwards
So much happened in this book, it seems impossible! It was quest after quest. Not very many of them turned out the way they wanted them to. Kyne did turn out to be power hungry, no surprise there. I wish for Clara's sake Kyne could have been reformed. Actually all bad mage were power hungry, that's just a no brainer. The Darlene pulled out some surprising gifts that I didn't know they had. Siren ended up where I thought he would. Chimera's final form will shock you. Charlie transforms and I'll let you decide if you like what happens to his character. I wish Clara's memories would return, I think it would help her connect with her parents better. Anyway you'll have to read the book to find out what happens to Amicus & if Clara gets turned into a Herron in the end. Does the Daemon become the King? And what happens to Zanatos?

Dark Secrets by Linsey Hall
Wow, what a great read! Dark magic teams havoc on Guild City. Can Carrow, the Devil, Eve and their friends save the day again? And to think it all started with a book that radiates dark magic. Linsey has mad skills, writing a whole story around an evil book. Who would have thought a book could take over Guild City with dark magic? I am still worried about how the Devil and Carrow are going to survive being cursed mates. There has to be a way for them both to survive! I love the new world you created in Chicago called Magic Side. Can't wait to read the new adventures that await there in your next series. I love the new adventurous character Neveah Cross. She seems r like the leap before you look type of girl.

The Cursed Witch by Chandelle LaVaugn
How many different witch readings and spells can you put in one book? Apparently a lot, this book had practically everything. I get that Saffie wanted answers about her past, but I would stopped after she talked to a medium. Her new friends are just as incorrigible as Bettina & Tegan. It's a good thing GiGi can't joins The Coven. Those two together would be big trouble! This is one of the longest Chandelle's wrote. Saffie wakes up in a strange place with no memory. She doesn't know who to trust the only thing she remembers is her name. Super scary right? Thank goodness she lucks out with the sweet lady that finds her. Then at school she quickly meets 2 best friends that are heavily into witchcraft. From there she meets a boy she saw the night she woke up in town, but is he good or bad? A lot of forces are at work in Saffies life. As you can tell by the front cover one of them is Fae. That's all I'm going to say, no go get the book!

Among Gods by Quinn Blackbird
This is a spin off from her Gods & Monsters series. You don't need to have read them however, to understand this book. It is a look at aniels, which are basically angels and daemons, which are daemons. So far the world building is great. Keela is a rich girl being treated like a poor girl, all because she is ill. Obviously, that would cause a lot of envy and jealousy not only of the other girls her age, but everyone who was healthy. Keela has very dark thoughts, as anyone in her situation would. She dreams of a man to marry her who will take care of her & keep her safe. She catches the eye of an aniel, not something anyone wants to do, who develops a fondness for her. What happens next when daemons invade the Capitol? Will they take an interest in the ill girl? Looking forward to the next book.
Wicked Lies by Megan Montero
This book had everything action, adventure, soulmates, deadly scenarios, & shapeshifters. Astrid is still mad at Beckett for lying to her about the soulmate mark. She is all spit and venom! She plays the most hilarious pranks on him. Poor Beckett has so much stress from other things going on he doesn't need Astrid fighting him too. Things get harder for Beckett when an evil person suddenly appears and helps the council challenge him & his friends for the council seats. They need someone to help them get the votes they need to secure their take over. What will they do? Does Ophelia have a dangerous plan to help with the situation? Will Beckett win the heart of Astrid and put the pranks to bed for good? And where is Maze disappearing to all the time? What vision does he keep having that has him willing to give up everything? This book was amazing and the characters are growing so much. I love the new character Pendolyn! I can't wait for Wicked Curse! This book does end in a cliffhanger.

Dead Magic:The Sanctuary Chronicles Book 3 By India Kells
This is by a new author for me to read. I really loved the story line & the sexual tension. However, I feel like the story suffered because of all the sex that kept being thrown there. Obviously, some sex was needed to go with the story line. I felt myself wishing there was more to the story that needed to be told. The book could have been so much better if there was more adventure or investigating. I feel like the sex was more important than the actual story.

Shades of Magick by Jessica Wayne
This final book in the trilogy was jam packed with action. The tasks the team had to accomplish seemed impossible, yet somehow it so came together. Jessica wrote this out beautifully. I had no idea how the characters were going to get out of the mess they found themselves in. The message of the book was hope, believing in yourself & lastly love. I love how Lawson's story ended. He deserved happiness. Zane & Corrine still have a lot to work out on their relationship, I feel. And my favorite couple Daxton & Sienna have such a bright future ahead of them. I feel Sienna will still have adventures ahead of her, no matter what she chooses to do with her life. Thank you Jessica & I hope you decide to write more books in this series later on! It's my favorite series of yours.
