This is a futuristic sci-fi adventure that at times is almost to wild to believe! All the technology is just gibberish to me, but the author does go into great detail to explain all these fantastic feats. Imagine finding out you had a body double out there. It would creep me out and I'd feel sorry for the poor soul. Christopher is a lovable character who is loyal, chivalrous, and stuck in a hard position. He has been living as a teen with no close friends, doing his homework & he never stuck out. One day he meets a hot girl leaning on his beat up car. His life is never the same after this point.
I loved cute little Fable & Puddle even though they had such small parts I felt they should be mentioned. Merrick I thought was very charismatic, charming and very likable. He had great qualities and cared deeply for those under his care. I felt both anger, loathing and pity for Dr. d'Alta. Of course, she was put in a hard position. I would never have gone as far & done as much wrong as her character did. I wouldn't be able to live with myself. And lastly I can't believe Alexander didn't see that he had ultimately become the bad guy.
