Welcome, do you need a proofreader?

I love to proofread. I just kind of stumbled into this. I have been reviewing books for over a year. It started out with regular books, then I discovered arcs. Then I got a tip from someone on where I could get my hands on more arcs.  That's when it happened, I reviewed a book & listed the corrections that needed to be made after the review. Now I will say I would never have done this had I known how to get in touch with the author personally. I was contacted by the Author & thanked. Needless to say they went back in & made the changes. When her proofreader got sick she contacted me to fill in. That's when I realized how much I liked doing this and actually I had been doing this already in every book I read. You see it drives me crazy to find a mistake and not fix it in my own copies of books. I never imagined I could make some money doing it. I am a freelance proofreader.
